Goodwill

I feel like going to goodwill today when hubby comes home from work. I want to check out something there. Goodwill is actually like a thrifty store where you can shop for used or new items (if you get lucky) from clothes, shoes, house appliances, furniture and etc… Goodwill is also the best place to donate anything that you want to get rid off. Whatever stuff they get (usually in good condition) they will sell it in cheaper price and accordingly they use the money to give some employments to all those unemployed. Sometimes you can find brand-new clothes with tag on it still. Well, from the name itself GOOD-WILL (wink).

Ruby Tuesday guys! These people are friends from our congregation. A mother gave a farewell party to his son who will be volunteering at Bethel in New York for a few months and all the friends in our congregation were all invited to attend the party. We had fun. There were games and food. Anyways, happy ruby Tuesday everyone!

Whew! I thought I couldn’t find a picture that fits the theme. I’m glad I saved all those photos that my aunt shared to me last night. That guy is my aunt’s new boyfriend. She broke up with her previous fiancé because he became so controlling to her and I’m glad that she found his true identity before they decided to get married. She was engaged with that previous guy but everything didn’t work for the both of them. I hope my aunt is happy with her new found love. She will move with him in Virginia this month. I miss home

I really feel so homesick now and miss the Philippines so much! Unfortunately, we cant go home next year because we don't have any budget. We need to take care of some priority's at home first and you know how the economy has been lately, I'm sure most people cannot go take a big vacation this year. We're hoping to be able to go back home in the year 2011. Well, nothing we can do. My husband and I sit around talking and reminiscing the last time we were in the Philippines and how my family waited on us hand and foot. We had a big party when we arrived and I think the whole neighborhood showed. It doesn't surprise me because that's what Filipinos do anyways. I'm hoping all the friends enjoyed the party. Can't wait for the next time.

I visited hundreds of blogs today!

I am so tired and exhausted right now because I did some serious blog hopping. Believe it or not I was able to visit over one thousand blogs. I’m just glad that my internet connection was cooperating with me. Anyways I wasn’t just visiting blogs for nothing but I also read most of their posts. Some we’re encouraging and some were educational. I’ve even encountered bloggers who are sharing about their new found businesses and they also want their readers to try it too. One of the interesting posts I’ve read about is this digital marketing agency. I’m actually familiar with marketing because I used to attend some seminars back home when I was still in the Philippines. Basically, marketing or networking is really an interesting job because you can either make it your full time job or part time job. And I’m so grateful that I’m opening minded with this type of job because I learned a lot, most especially on how networking really works.

The blogger also made mention about the cpa network, display advertising, email marketing, publishers and affiliates can really be great factors in helping bloggers to generate more income and monetizing their blogs. I think this is really a perfect part time job for all of us who have multiple blogs. I myself would really want to earn something while I’m at home taking care of my children. This way I can be my own boss and be able to manage my own time to whenever I feel like working. You might want to try this too. Visited mom tonight

We went to see mom and she looks better compared to the last time we saw her. Unfortunately the facility required to not to allow children in the building because of the flu season. We had to take our kids back in the car and take turns to seeing mom. I talked to her a bit and ask her how she feels. I ask her if she feel some pain which she does and she said that the pain usually in her lower part of abdomen, her chest has pain too. I told her to ask some pain medication so she will feel a lot better and she refused to do so because according to her she get constipated. I don’t blame her for that because that’s how I felt too when I was taking vicodin during my pregnancy. I had to take it because of the complications I had. I feel sorry for what she’s going thru and we all know that she’s tired of getting sick and she just want to rest for good. She asks hubby if he has a couple of dollars because she wants to buy some soda. We bought her soda and gave her money so she can buy snacks and soda whenever she wants too. We’ll try to see her more often now!
