We’ve been thinking about ways to save money at home and it’s been harder than you would imagine. There’s something to be said for keeping track of everything you spend because at the end of the day it’s those 10 and 20 dollar bills flying out of your wallet that really add up, you know what I mean? I love that there are so many different ways to shave costs and from our hOmE sEcUrItY SyStem to our cable I’ve been asking all our providers about solutions that may be more cost effective for us. I’ve actually started taking our trash to the dump instead of having it picked up and that’s saving us about $400 a year…also, I’ve been selling some of our old stuff on Ebay to make some extra cash and I’ve just about got enough for a great honeymoon present for our daughter! I can’t wait to tell my husband about all my efforts because as far as he knows we haven’t really been able to save anything!
