When we went to the beach the other day, I made it clear to my husband that I would want to buy some fish from whoever “Filipino” fished that day. I know that there are some Filipinos at the pier who sells fish and instead of me fishing; I’ll just ask for some favor to a fishers if they can give me some and I’ll pay them a few dollars. I was glad that an old folk agreed and gave me 6pc of fishes (6-7inches in length) for two dollars, but my husband insisted me to give another dollar because the old man didn’t have a lot of caught fish in his bucket. I thought it was fair since he did all the hard work, I gave-in. normally; when fishers caught a lot of fish, I can basically buy a few dollars for a half-a-bag of it. Anyway, I was a happy camper at the time. I should do it often, because it’s tiring to eat meat all the time. I want the old fashion way, the kind of food I ate and grew up with which is fish cooked in many different ways…

it must be nice to walk around with the breeze in that pier :) always love to see a big water scenery. you are blessed to eat the kind of food that you used to eat before. I missed eating those kind of fish.
Wow ka-nice diay ninyo diha Jer kay mura man Pinas, naa diay mangisda nga ibaligya pud ilang kuha? Kahinumdom ko ni Filemon nga namasol sa pandagatan dah! LOL. Kuripot pud kaayo ka oi, 6 pieces for $2? Maygani naa si hubby nagpadugang ug another dollar. Hahaha. Save na ang paniudto sa nangisda ato da. :D
